Slag Heap Projects is a contemporary art gallery based in Broken Hill on Wilyakali Country. Through an annual, rotating program of exhibitions and events, they champion the work of Far West NSW artists and ideas. As one of the only artist-run organisations in Broken Hill, their exhibitions and programs speak to the rich history of artistic and cultural practice in the community. They see art as a tool for deeper understanding of place. Their newly renovated gallery is dedicated to supporting the region's arts scene. They provide accessible exhibition spaces, curatorial support and financial opportunities that sustain and grow the creative community. The gallery is accessible via car and foot, with accessible parking directly in front of the gallery.
