Starview Campsite

Welcome to the Starview Primitive Campsite – only 12km from Broken Hill. Nestle into the gorgeous Living Desert State Park and spend a few nights among the tranquil surrounds. Enjoy encounters with a variety of native animals, explore the rich mineral deposits and rock formations on our extensive walking trails leading to the Sunset Sculptures and through the John Simon’s Flora & Fauna Sanctuary. Relax under a magnificent night sky on our star view seats. Bring the family or have a solo adventure in a secure environment. 

The campsite provides 15 unpowered van sites, a wood-chipped tent area, a shelter with free gas BBQ’s and picnic tables, toilets, showers, star-view seating. After hour access is provided via entry code. Maximum 5 night's stay. No pets or fires allowed.

Camping fees:
Adult (age 16+) - $12 per night
Child (age 6-15) - $5 per night
Child (under 5 years) - free

Living Desert entry fee (one-off fee covering your stay at the campsite):
Adult - $7 (please note for day visitors who are not camping, the entry fee is $10)
Concession (pensioners, students, senior cards, groups) - $7
Child (under 5 years) - free
Family with children - $22

Accessibility:
Easy wheelchair access to sites and facilities. Both showers and toilets are fully wheelchair accessible.
