Wentworth

Wentworth is a 265 km drive from Broken Hill and was once Australia's busiest inland river ports, Wentworth is considered the gateway to Outback NSW, and is situated on the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers in southwestern New South Wales. At the turn of the 20th century, Wentworth wharf was bustling with paddle-steamers working the rivers. Follow the Wentworth Trail to uncover the town’s top attractions and historic buildings, including the heritage-listed Old Wentworth Gaol and Ferguson Tractor Monument.
