This package is designed to fit in with the train to and from Sydney.
Arrive in Broken Hill on Outback Explorer. You will be met by Host from Silver City Tours and escorted to accommodation.
Day two, take the City Sights and Heritage Tour with a visit to the Geo Centre. After a short break head to the World famous Sculpture Symposium for a sunset.
Day three, take the Wetlands Cruise, Menindee and Kinchega National Park tour.
Day four, Silverton Ghost Town and Taste of the Artback Tour
Day five, visit The Royal Flying Doctor Service. After Lunch, visit the Broken Hill Gin Distillery and finish the day off with a tour and dinner at the Palace Hotel, home of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert
Day six, Free day to explore this great part of Australia at your own pace
Day seven, Today you head to Australia’s oldest commercial opal fields. See Australia’s first solar power station. You’ll visit Red Earth Opal Underground Mine Tour and Showroom, a chance to purchase opals direct from the source. (Overnight White Cliffs Underground Motel)
Day eight, After breakfast they depart for Broken Hill, afternoon free
Day nine, return to Sydney.
